Municipality of Nessebar announced the beginning of construction of an indoor swimming pool in the newest quarter of the town "Black Sea".

The estimated value of the order is BGN 3.5 million excluding VAT. Funding is entirely from the municipal budget. The construction period is 2 years.

The indoor swimming pool will have 136 seats, 10 of them for disabled people.

The projected pool is 25x12.5m in size and has 5 floating corridors. At the same time, 50 athletes, or 10 on a corridor, can do sports.

In the pool room are designed two dressing rooms for 21 people with the necessary sanitary facilities, a dressing room for people with disabilities, a room for a instructor and coaches, a security room, a room for inventory and toilets for the visitors.

There will be cabinets and dressing rooms for the staff, a methodical cabinet with a warehouse, a medical cabinet with a manipulation room, a waiting room and a toilet, a technical room, a toilet with an anteroom and a recreation area.

The building has 27 parking spaces, 4 of which are for disabled people and 19 parking spaces for bicycles.

The hall with a swimming pool will be located in the 3rd quarter of the Black Sea.

In the same area, the construction of the "Public Settlement Park with Open Objects for Sports Activities and Playground" and the "Walking and Bicycling Alley" began.
