The climate in the Sunny Beach region is moderately continental, strongly influenced by the Black Sea, as well as by the air streams invading the Mediterranean Sea.

The climate resembles the climate in northern Italy and more specifically like in Rimini resort.
Sunny Beach is the most famous and most visited resort in Bulgaria. Situated in the South-East Gulf. From the northern side are the hills of Stara Planina and in the South is the town of Nessebar.
The beach of Sunny Beach is made of fine golden sand. The beach is over 8 km long. and 30 to 60 meters wide. The seabed has a very slight slope, it is convenient for bathing even for young children. There are no tides. There are no dangerous animals!

The average annual temperature is 12.3 degrees. The average monthly air temperature during the active tourist season does not exceed 28-30 degrees, and the average monthly humidity varies between 60 - 65 %. The June - September period is characterized by a minimum of (3 - 4) dark days per month and maximum (20 - 25) clear days.

The breeze is moderately hot and refreshed by the cool breeze. The winter is soft, almost without snow cover to keep, and the spring is extremely beautiful and comes around 15 March.

The fall continues until mid-December and is warm and sunny. The average sunshine duration is about 2300 hours, from May to October - 1700 hours of sunshine, and in July and August the sunshine reaches 10.5-11 hours.

Sunny Beach is a place with exceptionally favorable for recreation and tourism climate, for the duration of the active tourist season - over 6 months per year
